Reflection: Go Pachai
My
motivation to continue working in the club even after the hurdles we faced were
these kids. Every morning I would go to their class and check on the plants
only to be surprised. They worked much better than anyone in my team. Without
reminders they would complete their task and this hunger of theirs changed my
perspective completely. At a point I was frustrated with everyone’s
carelessness towards their plants but these kids kept me going. The time when a
flower bloomed in their pots, these kids were so enthusiastic not only them but
the whole class. Everyone watered it every day, added fertilizers, took it out
in sunlight regularly. Watching them learn about how a live grows was another
beautiful aspect of this journey. Every day the smiles they carried on their
face seeing the flower bloom slowly was definitely worth all the pain.
Moreover, this experience is close to me because I like nature in every form.
Firstly, along with them even I observed how a flower blooms and then changes
its colors and admired the beauty of nature. Secondly, I also watched jaws drop
at the sight of the flower. Their curiosity and amazement is beyond
description.
With their sincerity they did every project
given to them. This really touched me. I was amazed to see how responsible they
could get and that inspired me to be more responsible, more enthusiastic, more
curious about every aspect of life.
