The most awaited day of my life had finally come! I always wanted to go on a trip with my best friend before I turn 18. A solo trip but this is India and we have protective parents who wouldn't let girls go alone so we went with a camp called Inme aka INfiniteME. I had already been with them to Andamans for scuba diving, snorkeling and kayaking and to Coorg for ropes course, rock climbing and more. This time we were going to Pondicherry for surfing. Generally I go alone, meet strangers and by the end of the camp we have a family. However this camp was different. The camp had 15 people coming from places we had no clue of. During the trip we are not allowed to use any gadgets, our phones are taken away so we actually live in the moment rather than our phones. So day one involved flying to Banglore all alone and catching the bus to Pondicherry with the rest of the group. We had 6 hours in hand in Banglore but since my friend had a stye on her eye suddenly, we had to go to an eye doctor. Later however we did go to Lal bhaag and then off to the Inme office. There we met other guys who had signed up. Most of them, pretty much every one, was 14 or 15 which sucked because we were the oldest ones but they were freaking tall. I felt tiny. We deposited our phones, cash and other gadgets and took the bus to Pondicherry. It was a sleeper bus but nobody planned on sleeping. We were awake till 1 am and I was actually sleepy which is ironic because I never sleep before 2 am. I guess, I was already tried. So we stayed up to celebrate one of the guy's birthday and were soon sent to bed by our instructors. By the way, we had three instructors with us, Superman, Allanah and GPS.
