Day 1 - The beginning....

Number of hours: 11 (9 am to 10 pm)
After sitting for hours, day and night, the day had finally arrived. With all research compiled and resolutions drafted we, 28 delegates, made our way to our final destination : IIMUN Kodaikanal Chapter 1. Seven hour long journey, with a blast of music and chattering, is perhaps a must-do part of this beautiful experience.
After 30 minutes of chaos and pandemonium, we girls, had finally left our pink rooms well dressed and styled. Moving towards the Kodaikanal International Business school, anticipation had filled our stomachs, it ached with excitement, with the suspense of what lay ahead and the spirit of winning!
Soon there was a surprise DJ party and all of us sank into the music, this is where we started lobbying and interacting with all the delegates in the IIMUN Chapter 1. Soon all the Tipsians formed our circle and started shaking our legs; the party had begun. From Bollywood to Kollywood and Hollywood songs, everything sounded good with your favorite people around. Later we were lead to the dinning where again we did as much as interaction as possible and prepared ourselves for the battle coming ahead.
The most beautiful part of the day was the view from the school. Lighting and houses and cold breeze and friends - I tell you, nothing beats this! Finallement, the day had come to an end, when we were shifted to better rooms and cozy beds!

The conversations now moved
from person-to-person to seniors-juniors; finally we started interacting with our seniors and that's where the fun began. The opening ceremony began with videos followed by talks by the principal, vice chairs and secretory generals. Then came the awaited moment: who were our chairs? All eyes were focused on the chairs and ears awaited their names. Searching for HRC chair, I glanced around, but no one representing HRC. Mr.Karthick seemingly was delayed and caught up
in the Airport.
