Natural Air Purification: A project where we, the eco club, spread awareness on the plants which have great air purification capacity. Initially, we were going to sell plants but due to some problem at the last moment we had to change our plans and instead we decided to hold a campaign.Once this idea
kicked in, we made a new proposal and got it signed by the CAS and DP
coordinator.
Our research was done but compiling and creating posters were on the list. So that's where we began, we started by dividing the work again. Most of us began making the posters, while some started compiling the docs and making the pamphlet which contained the benefits of each plant and how to take care of it.
The next day we took printouts and stuck the posters. As parents started filling the columns, we split into pairs and went to every parent, explaining the benefits and uses of each plant. My speech for like this:

" Good evening ma'am, we are here to talk about a global issue,Increase in Global Temperature. You can see that it is 5 pm already and it's sweltering. Coimbatore's pollution level is going to be equal to Chennai's pollution in a few months. We don't realize how we are killing ourselves subtly, these health issues, lung problems are going to increase. We have already seen these Kent RoUV and Aroeguards being sold at Rs.15000/- but you see, these plants, altogether, are sold at around 1400/-, only and they
are better at this job. They absorb toxic chemicals and allergens
like dust, so people with dust allergies or lung problems can benefit
from them.
One such plant like
Adiantum, absorbs radiation from computers and printers. This is
something we require in the present generation as technology is
developing and we use it frequently to make life easier Above all, they look
beautiful when displayed in your home (they are all indoor plants).

After this we asked them to fill up a feedback sheet and to our delight parents found it helpful.
