Journal 3: The work began
Hours: 5

Today we started off by fixing the cables for the billing software. Two of our team mates had prepared a billing software which made work a lot more easier. It had amazing features and made life much easier. Quickly we started off by setting the Ethernet cables to the counters and checking the software.
Once this was done all of us began painting the posters. We made two posters and one big menu. This took up two and a half hours before we were satisfied. We hung them up with threads on the roof of us stall.

Post this we had a meeting with our CAS coordinator and stall in charge, Ms. Nivya, and finalized our roles. This was the crucial point of the day. After almost an hour of discussion we were sure of our roles. I was given the overall in charge of the stall and the responsibility of the cash collected. Each of the remaining students were assigned a role they were comfortable with and we decided upon how the whole thing would function, who would serve, who would tally, who would heat the patties, who would maintain stocks and the list goes on.
Later that evening we crushed the Oreos for Oreo milkshakes and ate some too while the rest of the group, mostly the residential students, stayed up late and cut vegetables and extracted lemon juice for lemonade.
