IIMUN Training session -1

The students of grade 7 were alloted the United Nations Environment Program for their first Model United Nation and by having one MUN experience I had to train and chair their committee for mock sessions. There were around 20 students packed with enthusiasm and curiosity and keeping up with their inquisitiveness was a pain.

Since I had already sent them an email on what to do and their alloted countries, the first session wasn't blank. I started off with telling them what UN is, how MUNs work and how you need to prepare for it. I then briefed them about how it will be in their committee room and answer their million questions.

Following this I sent another email specifying on what you need to do and which websites to look on.
